Fitness Fridays: Full Body Workout


Taking inspiration from the wonderful Kalyn Nicholson, I’ve decided to publish a post one Friday a month that is completely fitness related: Fitness Fridays! Today I’ve decided just to let you into the workout I completed this morning. I’ve recently gotten into circuit training as my main form of exercise, thanks to the motivational Sarah’s Day. Therefore, today’s workout featured exactly that:

Warm Up

  • 35 minutes on the Cross Trainer

Circuit 1

  • 15 x Medicine Ball Squat and Press
  • 30 x Reverse Lunges (15 on each leg)
  • 40 x Ab Bikes
  • 24 x Weighted Lunges (12 on each leg)

Repeat twice for a total of three times!

Circuit 2

  • 10 x Weighted Sumo Squat
  • 15 x Straight Leg Sit Ups
  • 40 x Weighted Pulsing Lunges (20 on each leg)
  • 15 x Press Ups

Repeat twice for a total of three times!

This workout was a killer for me as I am just getting back into a good gym routine after a couple of months off! Let me know in the comments below if you try it out yourself!
